Applying for a secondary place

Applications can be made online until the national deadline of 31 October 2024. All applications made by the national deadline are treated the same. Before you apply, we recommend you go to www.leeds.gov.uk/apply and:

• Read about the admissions process works.
• Research possible schools - you are allowed to list 5 preferences.
• Read each school's admission policy to understand how their places are allocated and how likely it is your child will be offered a place.
• Check if your home address provides any admission priority.

Contact us if you need any support.  Please note, if you do not apply for any places you could be allocated any school that has places.  It is imperative that you put down your options to try to secure a place.
